Your story has really touched my heart. I grew up not far from where you live and am pursuing a degree in Special Education. I also want to help find a cure for Autism and the other forms of Autism. I have taken it upon myself to send the link to your page out to friends and family in hopes to help you reach your goal. I sure hope you get to $11,000. It is wonderful what you are doing. Keep up the good work.
I love your website. The picture of you and Sean together is really great. I will do whatever I can to help you out with your efforts. Best of luck to you all.
Hi Sean! I have two dogs, Maya and Sophie, and they are so special to me! I am proud of your work to raise money for a good cause and excited about your chance to get a service dog of your own! Best wishes!!
Nicole, Was so excited I just had to share! I sent out a mailing to my list yesterday about Sean's fundraising efforts and woke up this morning to this wonderful reply from my beautiful MK sister, Jennifer Campbell in Virginia.
Hi Folks (to Kid & Dog lovers alike!),
My Mary Kay Sister in Ohio, Vicky - a very dear and sweet friend, sent me the below request regarding her grandson Sean. Everything she writes and the website she references is accurate. Just like her, I too enjoy giving and believe we reap what we sow. Please read her email and help if you can.
Funny how things work out...Just a week or two ago I was watching the TV and they had a special on the 4 Paws Program. I was totally mesmerized by how much training goes into each dog and the reactions it gave to children with disabilities. I told Oliver, my husband, that if money weren't an issue I'd donate heavily to the cause. Now here I am 2 week later faced with the opportunity to contribute to someone I personally know that could benefit from one of these precious pets! Yes, Vicky I'll be helping Sean get his Max or Molly!
Hi! I saw your website on a Twitter post by carlysvoice. I felt compelled to let others know that therapy animals really do help autistic children/teens. We use hippotherapy, therapy with horses, and have seen many, many improvements with our clients.Therapy animals are a very special and most people do not realize the expense that goes into training and maintaining them inorder to do their job. They are not just a family pet! Good luck to you! I too will promote your website. Hope you will check out our nonprofit at www.rideonstl.org
i love your website. i will promote it on my carlysvoice.com web page and my twitter page. I keep on getting questions about if the service dogs actually help? So will you let me know if it helps you? So i can tell parents that are asking me. good luck with your dog your autistic dog lover carly
